WHY
Raises awareness about disability to facilitate inclusive school environments. This can encourage inclusive play amongst children and more inclusive practices amongst teachers. It facilitates constructive conversations about disability and inclusive school practices and can help to address bullying.
WHO
Participants from the school community include parents, teachers & non-teaching staff, and learners.
WHAT
This training consists of two workshops: A ±5 hour workshop with parents and teachers followed by a ±2 hour workshop with learners. *Learner workshops may be presented during a double Life Orientation period.
