National Treasury has announced that the Transversal Tender Contract for: wheelchairs, seating systems, positioners and commodes valid until 31 March 2022, will not be extended further.
Therapists and procurement offices must plan ahead, as there might be some months where a valid transversal contract may not be available.
In order to ensure that clients are minimally impacted please consider that all assistive device tender orders are placed before the end of March 2022, when the current tender expires.
After the tender expires all orders will have to go through the 3 quote system until the new tender is in place.
