POSITIONING DEVICES

Our body positioners help to establish and maintain a 24 hour postural management routine. Our range of positioning devices help to maintain joint alignment, range of movement and stability, and reduce abnormal tone which provides longer term comfort through the therapeutic benefits of correct positioning.This is especially important when spending time out of a device to ensure any postural gains are not lost.

Being supported in different positions also enables the person to engage with others, participate in activities in a new way and to rest more comfortably.
Positioning options include wheelchair back supports, static positioners, cushions and therapy equipment.

BACK SUPPORTS

We offer adjustable back support systems for the user with more complex posture support needs. The back systems provide the appropriate support for normal alignment of the spine and also offer solutions for the user with existing spinal deformities.

SEAT CUSHIONS

A cushion should be seen as an important part of the user’s seating. A well designed cushion may improve stability and comfort, and can reduce the risk from pressure sores. No wheelchair user should be sitting without a suitable wheelchair cushion.

STANDING POSITIONERS

A standing positioner forms an important part of a 24 hour posture management routine, providing users who spend much of the day sitting in a wheelchair the opportunity to stand in a safe and supported position.

LYING POSITIONERS

A user’s posture should be managed even when in a horizontal position. We have different customisable options available for both side and back positioning.

SEATED POSITIONERS

We also offer seating solutions for positioning needs outside of a wheelchair, designed with the same focus on comfort and full body posture support.
